Primary care · Marin, the Peninsula & the South Bay

A San Francisco family doctor for people who live in Marin and the South Bay.

My office is in Noe Valley. Many of my patients live across the Golden Gate or down the Peninsula, and visits can be in person or by video.

Why patients come to me from outside the city.

I care for patients who live in Marin County, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County. Many of them tell me it is easier to get to me than to other doctors’ offices in San Francisco.

Some come because they work in the city. Some come because they want a doctor who knows them, who has time, and who can see the whole picture when several specialists are involved. Some come as a family: a parent, a teenager, a grandparent.

In person or by video, whichever fits.

Every patient can see me in person or by video. Many visits do not need you in the room with me. We can do follow-ups, go over results, adjust a plan, talk through a new concern, or check in during a serious illness by video, from home or from work. I am licensed in California and New York, so video visits are available to patients in either state.

Some things are better in person: a physical exam, vaccines, lab work, and anything where I need to see or feel what is going on. When that happens, you come to Noe Valley, and I try to make the trip worth it.

Your records, in one place.

I use Epic, so I can bring in your records from the medical centers you have already been to. You do not have to carry your history from office to office.

Family medicine, in plain terms.

I am a board-certified family physician. That means I care for adults the way an internist does and for children and teens the way a pediatrician does, and I can see everyone in your household. If you have been searching for a primary care doctor, a family doctor, or a general physician, that is what I am.
